How to Approve an Agency Partnership Request for Facebook & Instagram

This blog will teach you how to approve an agency partnership request for your Facebook and Instagram accounts, the process is the same for both as long as your Instagram account is connected to your Facebook account through Business Manager. Your page will still belong to it's current owner and allowing us access doesn't change that or your admin status.

Currently, there are three different ways you can approve an agency partnership request through Facebook and all of them can only be completed from a computer.

1. How to Approve the Agency Partnership Request via Email

1. Normally, once Social Media Sister has requested access to your page, your pages admin will receive an email to the email account linked with their personal profile. It'll look just like the email below and you'll want to select the link that we've highlighted.

2. You'll then be brought to your pages "Page roles" inside your "Page Settings". Inside here, you'll see the pending partner requests. Select the "Respond to Request" as shown below.

3. Facebook will then ask you to review some information about us. If you're happy select the "Continue" button.

4. You'll then have an opportunity to review what we've requested access to on your business page. Select "Accept Request" to continue.

5. You'll then be asked to confirm your password to proceed with the request.

3. How to Approve the Agency Partnership Request if You Didn't Receive an Email or Notification

Normally, once Social Media Sister has requested access to your page, your pages admin will receive a notification and an email to the account linked with their personal profile. Sometimes, that doesn't happen. Not to worry though, the process is quick and easy. Please follow the steps below.

1. Go on to the Facebook page we've requested access to and select "Settings".

2. Select "Page Roles".

3. You'll then be brought to your pages "Page roles" inside your "Page Settings". Inside here, you'll see the pending partner requests. Select the "Respond to Request" as shown below.
